Dilaudid is a type on a drug that belongs to the opiod class. This drug is usually derived from morphine. Despite its high habit forming ways to people this drug is usually prescribed to some patients. However for patients who are suffering from moderate pains and use this drug can be described as abusing it. Because of the dilaudid addiction, this drug is usually only prescribed in special circumstances when a patient is really in deep pain.
