Facts

  • The acetaminophen is added to Lortab to provide increased pain relief and to discourage recreational use of the drug, as high doses of acetaminophen can cause potentially fatal liver toxicity.
  • Lortab withdrawal symptoms include but are not limited to, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, vomiting, intense pain in the body, tremors, excessive sweating, anxiety, insomnia, muscle cramps with spasms, body chills, goose bumps, paranoia, agitated and aggressive behavior, increased heart rate, hyperactivity, dilated pupils, runny nose and eyes, depression and loss of appetite.
  • Risks associated with Ativan withdrawal including grand mal seizures and death show that use of the drug should be discontinued very slowly with medical supervision and over a prolonged period of time.
  • The possibility of a "bad trip" LSD trip can be reduced by taking the drug only when in a positive state of mind and in a relaxed environment.

DUI/DWI Offenders - Greenwich, New York

Drinking and driving, or driving while under the influence are serious offenses not to be taken lightly. Although each state has its own way of handling DUI/DWI offenders, there are some generalities that can be expected. Depending on the severity of the driver's intoxication and how stringent the state laws are, they may have to serve a jail sentence for their offense. Once this is completed they will probably have further retribution to do in order to drive a vehicle again. Many states require the person to go through counseling and/or therapy to help in their recovery process. Typically these counseling sessions are held in a group setting by either an addiction recovery professional or a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. The state will require a set number of therapy hours that the DUI/DWI offender will need to attend.
