  • Young adults are particularly prone to take part in binge drinking and to suffer repeatedly from withdrawal from alcohol, which may be a key reason for alcohol's harmful effects on the brain.
  • Withdrawal symptoms associated with methadone can include but are not limited to body aches and muscle cramping, back aches, leg kicking, anxiety, chills, shivering or trembling, abdominal cramping, weakness, increased blood pressure, convulsions, insomnia, diarrhea, running nose, watery eyes, sneezing, sweating, pale and clammy skin, nausea and thoughts of suicide.
  • It has been proven that drug rehab reduces costs associated with health and social costs of addiction, by far more than the cost of the treatment itself.

Lane - Residential Short-Term Treatment (30 Days or Less)

A residential short-term treatment (30 days or less) program offers care 24 hours a day 7 days a week for an average of 30 days (or less) depending on the treatment center. The clients reside at the rehab facility and are ensured a totally alcohol and drug-free environment during their recovery process. While in treatment they address their troubles with drug and/or alcohol addiction while mastering how to go about their life without turning to substances to solve their difficulties. When the client has finished their residential short-term treatment, they generally continue their recovery process by going into outpatient treatment, attending meetings, therapy or counseling. Greatly addicted people who have a long history of substance abuse will benefit from dwelling at a sober living home after they finish rehab. This will help them solidify their new found sobriety and give them strength and support.
