Detox services often include insuring the client is as comfortable as possible while detoxing and going through drug or alcohol withdrawal, providing proper nutrition and ensuring the individual is getting proper rest, and providing supplements and medicine as required to make the detox process as smooth and safe as possible. The person in detoxification will sometimes be encouraged to take part in some form of physical activity such as walking, yoga, etc. At a drug detox facility or drug rehab facility which can provide detoxification services, the client will have detox staff at their disposal around the clock to ensure that any problems are resolved as quickly and safely as possible.
