Drug rehabilitation is sometimes a part of a criminal justice clients sentence for the crime they have committed. In order to provide these individuals the treatment they need, there are some steps that need to be followed before they can enroll into a drug rehabilitation program. First, they need to determine if they are eligible for drug treatment during their time in the Meadow Creek, West Virginia criminal justice system. Their case is evaluated by a panel who makes the decision if they are in need of drug treatment services and if so how much and what type is necessary. Additionally, when they are evaluated for substance abuse problems, the client is also evaluated for mental health problems as well. Their drug addiction problem, mental health problems, criminal activity, sentence length and previous treatment history are all determining factors in the creation of a criminal justice rehabilitation plan.
