Drug or alcohol rehabilitation is sometimes a part of a criminal justice clients sentence for the crime they have committed. In order to provide these individuals the rehabilitation they need, there are some steps that need to be followed before they can enroll into a recovery rehabilitation facility. First, they need to determine if they are eligible for drug rehabilitation while involved in the Monroe, Arkansas criminal justice system. Their case is reviewed by a panel who makes the decision if they are in need of drug treatment services and if so how much and what type is required. Furthermore, when the client is screened for drug addiction problems, the client is also evaluated for mental health problems as well. Their drug addiction problem, mental health issues, criminal activity, sentence length and previous substance abuse history are all determining variables in the creation of a criminal justice treatment plan.
