Gays and lesbians who are having problems with drugs and alcohol have the choice of attending a drug treatment center that is specially intended for them. Deciding to attend one of these programs is a very good first step towards recovery. During rehabilitation recovering addicts not only address their problems with drugs and/or alcohol but also work on other emotional and personal issues they are having difficulties with.
