Gays and lesbians who are having problems with drug addiction have the option of going to a drug treatment facility that is specifically intended for gays or lesbians. Making the decision to attend one of these programs is an excellent first step towards recovery. During rehabilitation recovering addicts not only address their problems with drugs and/or alcohol but also work on other emotional and personal problems they are struggling with.
