Drug or alcohol rehabilitation is sometimes a part of a criminal justice clients sentence for the crime they have committed. In order to provide these clients the treatment they need, there are some specific steps that should be followed before they can enroll into a drug rehab facility. First, they need to determine if they are eligible for drug treatment while involved in the Black Oak, Arkansas criminal justice system. Their case is evaluated by a panel who determines if they are in need of rehabilitation and if so how much and what type is needed. Additionally, when they are screened for substance abuse problems, the client is also evaluated for mental health problems as well. Their drug addiction problem, mental health concerns, criminal activity, sentence length and previous treatment history are all determining factors in the creation of the treatment plan.
