Drug or alcohol treatment is sometimes a part of a criminal justice clients sentence for the crime they have committed. In order to get these individuals the rehabilitation they need, there are a few steps that need to be followed before they can enroll into a drug or alcohol treatment center. First, they need to find out if they are eligible for drug rehabilitation while involved in the Byron, Michigan criminal justice system. Their case is evaluated by a panel who decides if they are in need of drug treatment services and if so how much and what type is necessary. Additionally, when the client is screened for substance abuse problems, the client is also screened for mental health issues as well.
