Gays and lesbians who are having problems with drugs and alcohol have the choice of going to a drug rehab program that is specifically designed for gays or lesbians. Choosing to enroll into one of these programs is a great first step towards recovery. While in treatment recovering addicts not only deal with their problems with drugs and/or alcohol but also handle other emotional and personal problems they are having difficulties with.
