The National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services reports that almost 1,427,000 kids under the age of 18 live with a drug addicted mother in a single-parent household. With so many mothers in need of treatment, finding programs that provide residential beds for individuals children is important. Programs that support the children of addicts are a developing area of drug treatment programs. Admitting that you have a drug addiction problem and need help is not an easy thing.
