Drug treatment is sometimes a part of a criminal justice clients sentence for the crime they have committed. In order to provide these individuals the rehabilitation they need, there are some steps that need to be followed before they can enroll into a drug or alcohol rehab facility. First, they need to find out if they are eligible for drug rehabilitation while involved in the Cotton Plant, Arkansas criminal justice system. Their case is evaluated by a panel who determines if they are in need of drug treatment services and if so how much and what type is required. Furthermore, when they are screened for drug addiction problems, the client is also evaluated for mental health problems as well. Their drug addiction problem, mental health concerns, criminal activity, sentence length and previous substance abuse history are all determining factors in the creation of the rehabilitation plan.
