Gays and lesbians who are having problems with drug abuse have the option of going to a drug rehabilitation facility that is specifically designed for gays or lesbians. Making the decision to attend one of these programs is a great first step towards recovery. While in treatment recovering addicts not only address their problems with drugs and/or alcohol but also work on other emotional and personal issues they are having difficulties with.
