GET HELP LOCATING A DRUG TREATMENT PROGRAM
There are many ways to get part or all of your drug treatment covered. For those who have military insurance (e.g., VA, TRICARE) you will need to contact your provider directly to see exactly what you are eligible for. While both parts of TriCare (TriCare Standard and TriCare Extra) cover drug rehabilitation, only some VA benefits cover the expense of substance abuse treatment. Once you have spoken with your military insurance provider (e.g., VA, TRICARE) and fully understand what they will cover regarding addiction treatment you can begin researching drug rehab centers. Be sure to speak to the billing department of the drug rehab to make sure that they accept your military insurance (e.g., VA, TRICARE).
