Detoxification services frequently include insuring the person is as comfortable as possible while detoxing and going through drug or alcohol withdrawal, delivering proper nutrition and ensuring the person is getting proper rest, and providing supplements and medicine as needed to make the detoxification process as easy and safe as possible. The person in detoxification will sometimes be encouraged to take part in some sort of physical activity such as walking, yoga, etc. At a drug detoxification facility or drug rehab facility which can present detoxification services, the client will have detoxification staff at their disposal around the clock to assure that any complications are fixed as swiftly and safely as possible.
