Drug or alcohol rehabilitation is sometimes a part of a criminal justice clients sentence for the crime they have committed. In order to get these clients the treatment they need, there are a few specific steps that should be followed before they can enroll into a drug rehabilitation facility. First, they need to determine if they are eligible for drug rehab while involved in the Goodspring, Tennessee criminal justice system. Their case is reviewed by a panel who makes the decision if they are in need of drug treatment services and if so how much and what type is needed. Furthermore, when the client is evaluated for substance abuse problems, the client is also evaluated for mental health issues as well. Severity of addiction, mental health issues, criminal activity, sentence length and previous treatment history are all determining variables in the creation of a criminal justice rehabilitation plan.
