Detox services usually include insuring the client is as comfortable as possible while detoxing and going through drug or alcohol withdrawal, delivering proper nutrition and ensuring the person is getting proper rest, and supplying supplements and medicine as required to make the detox process as easy and safe as possible. The person in detox will sometimes be encouraged to take part in some kind of physical activity such as walking, yoga, etc. At a drug detox facility or drug rehab facility which can provide detox services, the individual will have detoxification staff at their disposal around the clock to make sure that any complications are fixed as rapidly and safely as possible.
