Gays and lesbians who develop problems with drug abuse have the option of attending a drug rehabilitation facility that is specially designed for gays or lesbians. Making the decision to enroll into one of these programs is a very good first step towards recovery. During rehabilitation recovering addicts not only deal with their problems with drugs and/or alcohol but also address other emotional and personal issues they are struggling with.
