The clients reside at the rehab facility and are ensured a completely alcohol and drug-free environment for the duration of their recovery process. While in treatment they address their troubles with drug and/or alcohol addiction while mastering how to go about their life without turning to drugs and alcohol to solve their concerns. When the client has finished their residential short-term treatment, they generally continue their recovery process by heading into outpatient treatment, attending meetings, therapy or counseling.
