GET HELP LOCATING A DRUG TREATMENT PROGRAM

Montpelier - Military Insurance (e.g., VA, TRICARE)

There are many ways to get part or all of your drug treatment paid for. For those who want to use military insurance (e.g., VA, TRICARE) you will need to contact your provider directly to see exactly what you are eligible for. While both parts of TriCare (TriCare Standard and TriCare Extra) cover drug treatment, only some VA benefits cover the expense of substance abuse treatment. Once you have spoken with your military insurance representative (e.g., VA, TRICARE) and fully understand what exactly they will pay for regarding substance abuse treatment you can begin researching drug rehab programs. Be sure to speak to the billing department of the drug rehab to ensure that they accept your military insurance (e.g., VA, TRICARE). You will want to have a full understanding of what your part (if any) of the program costs you will be responsible for before you enroll into the treatment program.
