Drug or alcohol treatment is sometimes a part of a criminal justice clients sentence for the crime they have committed. In order to provide these individuals the rehabilitation they need, there are some steps that need to be followed before they can enroll into a drug or alcohol rehabilitation program. First, they need to determine if they are eligible for drug treatment while involved in the Mount Orab, Ohio criminal justice system. Their case is reviewed by a panel who determines if they are in need of drug treatment services and if so how much and what type is needed. Additionally, when they are evaluated for substance abuse problems, the client is also evaluated for mental health problems as well. Severity of addiction, mental health problems, criminal activity, sentence length and previous treatment history are all determining variables in the creation of a criminal justice rehabilitation plan.
