Detox services are provided at either a professional drug or alcohol detox facility or a drug rehab facility which can correctly oversee and provide medical supervision for people who are just coming off of drugs. Detox services often include insuring the person is as comfortable as possible while detoxing and going through drug or alcohol withdrawal, delivering proper nutrition and making certain the individual is receiving proper rest, and supplying supplements and medicine as needed to make the detox process as easy and safe as possible. The person in detox will sometimes be encouraged to take part in some sort of physical activity such as walking, yoga, etc. At a drug detox facility or drug rehab facility which can provide detox services, the individual will have detoxification staff at their disposal around the clock to ensure that any difficulties are fixed as rapidly and safely as possible.
