Drug treatment is sometimes a part of a criminal justice clients sentence for the crime they have committed. In order to provide these individuals the rehabilitation they need, there are some specific steps that need to be followed before they can enroll into a recovery treatment facility. First, they need to determine if they are eligible for drug rehab while involved in the Oxford, Iowa criminal justice system. Their case is reviewed by a panel who decides if they are in need of rehabilitation and if so how much and what type is needed. Additionally, when the client is evaluated for substance abuse problems, the client is also evaluated for mental health problems as well.
