Men and women who are physically dependent to drugs or alcohol and want assistance will first go through detoxification before getting other treatment services in drug rehab. The person in detoxification will sometimes be encouraged to take part in some kind of physical activity such as walking, yoga, etc. At a drug detox facility or drug treatment facility which can offer detox services, the person will have detox staff at their disposal around the clock to make sure that any issues are fixed as quickly and safely as possible.
