Men only drug treatment facilities are similar to standard rehab programs except all the participants are male. These gender specific treatment programs are helpful for men because they are able to share past traumatic memories in an environment where they can feel free of judgment and having to maintain a tough exterior at all times. The reasons men become addicted to drugs or alcohol is typically different than women.
