Gays and Lesbians - South Lebanon

Gays and lesbians who are having problems with drug addiction have the option of attending a drug rehab facility that is specifically intended for gays or lesbians. Making the decision to enroll into one of these programs is an excellent first step towards recovery. During rehabilitation recovering addicts not only address their issues with drugs and/or alcohol but also address other emotional and personal problems they are having difficulties with. Gays and Lesbians in recovery examine how their destructive behavior was a result of inner feelings left unresolved. Counseling and/or therapy aids in resolving issues with shame, Isolation, feelings of rejection, discomfort in one's own skin, etc. Once treatment is complete they will be able to feel more secure about who they are and be able to live happily without the desire to use drugs.
