Summit, New Jersey - Criminal Justice Clients

Drug rehabilitation is sometimes a part of a criminal justice clients sentence for the crime they have committed. In order to get these clients the treatment they need, there are some steps that need to be followed before they can enroll into a drug or alcohol rehab program. First, they need to determine if they are eligible for drug rehab during their time in the Summit, New Jersey criminal justice system. Their case is reviewed by a panel who determines if they are in need of rehabilitation and if so how much and what type is required. Additionally, when the client is screened for drug addiction problems, the client is also evaluated for mental health problems as well. Severity of addiction, mental health issues, criminal activity, sentence length and previous treatment history are all determining variables in the creation of a criminal justice treatment plan.
