Facts

  • The rate of drug overdose deaths in the U.S. has increased five-fold since 1990, primarily due to the non-medical use of prescription drugs.
  • As part of withdrawal from these drugs after sudden cessation of use, sedatives and benzodiazepines can cause rebound insomnia when used regularly to aid sleep.
  • Long-term psychological problems often follow an adverse reaction or bad LSD trip.
  • It is quite common for an individual to begin taking Lortab legitimately and then have significant trouble getting off of the drug when it comes time to do so.

Tripler Army Medical Center - Residential Short-Term Rehabilitation (30 Days or Less)

A residential short-term treatment (30 days or less) program offers care 24 hours a day 7 days a week for an average of 30 days (or less) depending on the treatment center. The individuals stay at the rehab facility and are ensured a completely alcohol and drug-free environment throughout their recovery process. While in treatment they tackle their difficulties with drug and/or alcohol addiction while learning how to go about their life without turning to substances to solve their problems. When the client has finished their residential short-term treatment, they frequently continue their recovery process by going into outpatient treatment, attending meetings, therapy or counseling. Seriously addicted individuals who have a long history of substance abuse will benefit from living at a sober living home after they finish treatment. This will help them solidify their new found sobriety and give them strength and support.
