Drug or alcohol rehabilitation is sometimes a part of a criminal justice clients court sentence. In order to provide these clients the rehabilitation they need, there are some steps that should be followed before they can enroll into a drug or alcohol treatment program. First, they need to determine if they are eligible for drug rehabilitation during their time in the Tuckerman, Arkansas criminal justice system. Their case is evaluated by a panel who decides if they are in need of rehabilitation and if so how much and what type is necessary. Furthermore, when the client is screened for substance abuse problems, the client is also evaluated for mental health issues as well. Severity of addiction, mental health issues, criminal activity, sentence length and previous substance abuse history are all determining variables in the creation of the rehabilitation plan.
